SABDF  is born out of a need to contribute meaningfully to the shared prosperity of the African continent. Thorny as the region's history might be, the youth is holding the touch towards a brighter future. The Forum is operated with counsel from elders by the youth, for the youth and ultimate improvement of the life of the African child.

To achieve this we have come up with the following initiatives:

Establish a melting pot hub where all youth will meet to be mentored and guided on how to collaborate in business.

Profile one country a month where all the economic opportunities that are available in that country will be fully presented to the youth by the country Ambassador or his delegated member of the Embassy.

Show case all the arts and cultural effects of that country and promote its tourist attraction areas.

Get the youth to debate about the history of that country and how that country has progressed since its independence from colonialization.

Get them to talk about the present status quo of the country and their proposed solutions to the challenges. (In SA and in their respective countries via live streaming)

Close a month with an arts and culture show, fashion shows, food sampling including music performances by their country’s artists.

Be a platform for unemployed graduates to do their Community Service Work whilst gaining the necessary work experience and contributing to the Municipal Economic Development.

We want to encourage the youth to start focusing on driving economic development programmes amongst themselves and collaborate beyond the borders of South Africa.
